We're back to school with a new administration! Our brand new principal, Mr. John Weilert, is working hard on the first day for the new school year. Throughout the day, Mr. Weilert was out and about in all the classrooms. For several years prior, Mr. Weilert taught high school biology here at AMHS. His energy, passion, and joy brightens the school.
His motto is "Don't Charge the Mound." It comes from a baseball video where a teenage batter, hit accidentally by a wild pitch, shows the distraught pitcher compassion and understanding. Mr. Weilert encourages everyone to show compassion, patience, and understanding as the year starts up and gets moving.
